Chopped strand mat is a very easy cloth to work with. It can easily be laminated over corners. But it does not have the same strength as woven cloth. So it is likely that a laminate of chopped strand mat will include layers of woven cloth for strength.

Quadraxial Fiberglass cloth

A very strong cloth which is a favourite for laminating on hulls which have been heavily blasted during proper osmosis treatments. Also used for making strong repairs, preferably with epoxy resin. Quadraxial is a four layer cloth and the strength is from the weaves which are aligned different on each layer.

Carbon Fiber cloth is very strong but difficult to work with.
