Double bottom internals remain in good condition even though they were coated only with shop primer.
But on another craft the situation is slightly worse with general corrosion in the void spaces of the double bottom as coatings not maintained.
The same with a cofferdam. It is important to enter these spaces to check the condition and verify with ultrasonics if the steel thickness remains acceptable. The checking can continue over the underwater hull plating when the yacht is out of the water.
On another craft the situation is more serious.
Condensation on the Deck Head. One source of corrosion in void spaces, leaking pipes would be another, or leaking gaskets of manholes on the deck allowing rainwater to enter the tank.
Hidden areas which remain with coatings not maintained. In this case what is happening behind the interior linings?
Corroded pipe in same area.
