  Nationality British, Born Liverpool 1974  
   
  1995-2011 worked at Overseas Maritime, a prominent Marine Survey practice based in Piraeus, Greece as Marine Surveyor. Work involved survey of coastal passenger ships, yachts, cargoes and insurance claims.  
   
  In 1995, I participated in the offshore Fastnet yacht race.  
   
  In 2008, I decided to pursue some professional development training so I trained at the International Boatbuilding Training College, Lowestoft, gaining a Diploma with merit from the YDSA endorsed Practical Yacht and Small Craft Survey Course.  
   
  In 2009, I went back to IBTC Lowestoft and trained on the "Introduction to Wooden Boat Surveying" course.  
   
  In 2011 I began to work as an independent surveyor.  
   
  I am a full member of BMSE (British Marine Surveyors Europe) and maintain their internet sites.  
   
  I am a Tonnage Measurer and MCA Code Examiner for the Royal Yachting Association  
   
  With my 15 years of survey experience combined with regular study into regulations, defects, repairs and maintenance I believe I can offer you a quality service which is completely independent and unbiased.
