For superyacht surveys I am not only using my experience of surveying superyachts but also bringing my experience as surveyor of coastal passenger ships together with my experience of small and medium size yacht surveying.
It is very easy for a surveyor to see a magnificent superyacht and to miss the defects because it is so amazing and beautiful.
I prefer to bring the detailed inspection that I am doing for the small yachts, to the superyachts therefore making a very good detailed inspection and spending time to make a good report.
|

My inspections include much functional testing even including the domestic equipment and entertainment equipment.
If the defects are discoverable I expect to find them and report to you all the defects I have found therefore you may obtain reduction in price or can arrange for the defects to be corrected so that the boat is ready for cruising.

- In water inspection
- Haul out inspection
- Sea trials inspection (at least 1 hour)
The inspections will take minimum 2 days.
The costs for the haul out must be paid by buyer unless an arrangement is made with sellers.
Buyer may wish to also appoint authorised mechanics for the engines to make laptop connection to the engines during sea trials and to give opinion on the running condition. This is not essential but is popular. An external engine inspection and witnessing of running condition is made as part of the survey.
